My Story...
Hello friends!
I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Susan Montgomery, but I go by Ishtara in life and in my professional world. Many spiritual people have found they resonate with a "soul" name and that is definitely the case with me. In 1991 I had an intense spiritual awakening with many twists and turns. One day, I plan to write the whole accounting as it reads like a sci-fi movie, but for this site I wanted to share bits and pieces because I believe the content can inspire others to KNOW beyond time and space, beyond the "veil."
In 1990, I was in the Navy and was just transferred from a ship out of Mayport, Florida to shore duty in Hawaii. I had just crossed rates (change jobs) from being in navigation to being an Illustrator. As I consider myself an artist, life felt full and complete, plus who doesn't want to live in Hawaii?
A year later, in my new home of Hawaii, I came across a lady who did some spiritual stuff-I had no clue at the time what any of that meant. I went to her house one day and we did a meditation to "Find your Angelic name." I couldn't believe what I heard-Ishtara La Sora Ishtael! Wow, I thought, you just can't make that stuff up. Unbeknownst to me the fun had just begun.
I went on leave two weeks later, flew to California to meet up with an old Navy friend to hang out and have a vacation. The second day I was there, we were sitting around at a dinner with several of her other friends and I was sharing my story about getting this spiritual name. What happened next was just the beginning of a life-changing and crazy week! The energy in the room got very quiet and as if by design, everyone around the table started receiving their angelic names! My friend received the name-Kayla Kim Mata, another got Silvan Dragor Lagor (The Silver Dragon Legacy), another lady got Soliela Lon Domo. We also got that we were part of a star group, Star Group 5.
What proceeded to happen the rest of the trip was that I was to experience a walk-in with my higher self, the twin flame aspect of myself. The "Susan" part of me simply left, went beyond the veil, and the Ishtara part of me came full-on into my physical body where she was anchored in for 11 months.
There is much more to my story, but I wanted to share the origins of my awakening. During the 11 months, I had downloads and remembrances of who I was and what I came to Earth to do. That I was a Lightworker on a mission. It was a wild ride as the Ishtara part of me had not ever been in the physical 3rd dimensional Earth plane before. It was a unique perspective of using Susan's memories on how to be in physical body. I plan to share the whole story when I write about it in my book.
After the 11-month time frame, I got the message that it was time for the souls to shift back. As Susan, I had free will to not come back to the Earth plane if that was my choice. I remember being reminded of my Lightworker mission and all the incarnations I had done to be here for this time on the planet-the time of the Great Awakening-and even though my soul felt tired, I knew this was mine to complete. I also knew this other aspect, Ishtara, could integrate with me. I watched the 2 soul aspects of myself enter into the heart chakra and shift out of physical (Ishtara) and into physical (Susan) through my heart chakra. That's when the real work began! My soul has been on a journey of awakening ever since.
So... I go by Ishtara as it feels like my Soul's name. I have kept the Susan part as a reminder of the Earth journey taken and to honor that process. What I share with humanity is the 30 years of my very human journey and the healing works I came here to teach.
We are all very much human, and we are all so very much more!
